At LNR 247 Locksmiths, our training academy plays a key role in maintaining the high standards we expect from our Lockmiths. The industry is constantly evolving, with new lock technologies, updated security standards and modern entry techniques being introduced regularly. Our academy ensures our team stay up to date with the latest tools, practices and industry developments.

Our academy is primarily focused on the ongoing development of our own engineers. Through regular training, we ensure our locksmiths are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to work on modern residential and commercial security systems.

Our training covers areas such as: Modern non-destructive entry techniques, working with high security lock systems, lock upgrades and security improvements, commercial security, digital and electronic locking systems and industry best practices and safety procedures.

LOCKSMITH TRAINING FOR BEGINNERS

Alongside our internal training programme, we also offer training opportunities for individuals looking to enter the locksmith trade. These courses are designed for beginners who want to gain practical skills and understand how to work in the industry.

Training focuses heavily on hands-on experience, using all the knowledge that has been acquired through our many years within the trade. Our comprehensive training course costs £1700.00 and includes areas such as: Non-destructive entry methods, lock replacements and upgrades, residential and commercial locksmithing, essential tools and equipments and how to run a Locksmithing business. We are one of the only Locksmith training programmes to include Shutter work (this is usually a separate specialist course)

Our qualification has no entry requirements, making it accessible for both complete beginners and practicing locksmiths wanting to enhance their skillset alike. On completion of the qualification, certification is awarded by LNR 247 Training Academy. A mortice manual and stocked tool bag worth £500 is provided including a leading electric pick gun on the market, alongside full support both during and after the qualification is complete.

The qualification provides all skills required to practice as a fully qualified Trading Locksmith within the field. This provides perfect opportunity for Locksmiths who have completed the training to run their own successful businesses with full support and guidance.

There is an opportunity for LNR 247 Locksmiths to provide each successful candidate work on a subcontractor basis, whilst ensuring each learner is assisted in growing their own business.
